Another year, another chance to start a fresh - but how?
Today I’m highlighting the power of the beginner’s mind? And a study of one of the Creative Minds regulars, as he continues to move fwds, and light some of the corners for those looking closely 🔦 .
This one is about my own current saviour (and slight obsession) - Zen and the intersection with creative practice. I’m often leaning on something, and since early December, it’s been consuming these ideas around Zen practice that’s been keeping me level, and seriously making me reframe how I think about my creative work (and life).
I’ve been playing with the thought of gathering my writings and research around Zen/mindfulness/creative practice, and trying to get something like a book proposal out this year. So if you do enjoy these works, let me know, or share the work with a fellow creative.
More fire to your own projects. Love to all those following. And may 2026 allow us all to drop those beliefs we don’t need anymore, and find the kind of fruitful ideas that will nourish us most greatly.
Peeeaccce, and speak soon,
Will
